Somnio heads to Kickstarter for final stretch.

Independent sci-fi flick Somnio may have finished filming, but it's not over yet.

The writer and director of Somnio (Travis Milloy) has taken to Kickstarter for it's final push, in a short video Travis explains the stated $10,000 dollar goal would cover various elements of the films post-production and a planned promotional push to film festivals.

For those not aware, Somnio is written and directed by Travis Milloy (Pandorum) and stars Christopher Soren Kelly (Ink) as a prisoner trapped inside an automated cell, unsure if the world outside still exists. Incarcerated for an unknown reason, he must delve into his own mind to put the pieces together and hopefully find a way out.

Somnio was initially filmed on a micro-budget, but managed to create a full scale set for the prison scenes.

The first film Travis Milloy has directed since the 1996 Street Gun, who also has an upcoming film in production with Nicholas Cage and Mike Figgis named Exit 147.
