Limited Run Games Going PC.

Not content with just releasing limited physical releases of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita games, burgeoning independent physical games publisher Limited Run Games is now looking towards the PC market.

Limited Run Games first foray into this new space is with visual novel title; The Silver Case HD, a game originally created by the now renowned Suda51 - his first creation for at the time newly formed, development upstart Grasshopper Manufacturer - way back in 1999, that only saw a release in his native country of Japan.

Now courtesy of Active Gaming Media - responsible for ports of games such as Demonís Souls, Dear Esther and LittleBigPlanet to name just a few - and Playism, this title now comes to western gaming shores with a shiny new coat of paint and improved sound quality for gamers to enjoy.

With the title set to release digitally in both a standard ($19.99 / roughly £15.50) and deluxe format ($29.99 / roughly £23.50) on October 7th through both Steam and the Playism Store, a free demo has also been currently made available to give you a taste of what's to come.

Within The Silver Case HD you play through two different scenarios; one as detective aiming to solve a serial-murder case, and the other as a freelance journalist covering the crimes - a sequel to The Silver Case HD named Flower, Sun & Rain eventually made itís way west on the Nintendo DS.

In addition to the digital releases, a physical release through Limited Run Games is now available. Usually the company releases console titles in short bursts - with very limited numbers and on a first-come, first-served basis - but that all changes with their debut PC release.
