A frickin' laser...

Fusing together a mix of the neon-fuelled Tron and frenetic multiplayer madness, the latest title from London based developers roll7 is shaping up to be something special - and the closed beta starts right now.

Laser League tasks teams of players to eliminate their opponents in both 6 players and 8 player matches through the use of rotating lasers - think a wall of light akin to the aforementioned Tron.

Once downed, your teammates have the opportunity to revive you, but if a whole team is dispatched then a point is scored and the round begins anew. Sounds simple enough, but with a depth of classes to choose from and an addictive ‘just one more game’ quality, Laser League aims to keep you coming back for more.

A far cry from the OlliOlli series - the team's previous skateboarding, single player focused work - Laser League is now looking for players to join the closed beta over on Steam, which is free to sign up here.

But if you’re looking to get right inon the action then you’re in luck as publisher 505 Games have graciously presented us with a slew of Laser League beta codes to dispatch to readers - simply head over to our twitter to get your hands on one and we’ll see you in the arena.
